Married to Mary who gave birth to a son Joseph Dutton in 1797, daughter Mary in 1799 and son George in 1801. Supplied furniture and furnishings to Lord Crewe of Crewe Hall 1822–23. These included three ‘Handsome Mahogany Biddets with turned legs’ at £1 3s each on 18 August 1822 and a ‘A Handsome piece of Mahogany Furniture with 6 deep drawers, wardrobe cupboard, sliding shelves in centre, large turned black feet’ at £9 10s on 27 August 1822.
