Grendey, Giles, London, cm (b. 1693–d. 1780). Giles Grendey was born in Wotton-under-Edge, Glos., the son of William Grendey, and his wife Anne (neé Hall). In 1709 he was app. to William Sherborne, a second-generation London joiner.
