Dublin, Ireland; joiner and cabinet maker (fl.1751-d.1795)
Made Freeman of the City of Dublin as a Joiner by Grace Especial, Michaelmas 1751. In 1762 he was elected onto the Dublin Common Council for the Joiners’ Guild. Recorded in Bride Alley, 1766; at 24 Abbey Street, 1762-95. Notice in the Dublin Mercury, 1-5 April 1766: ‘Marriage at Carrickmines, Mr. Jonathan Ball, Cabinet-maker in Bride-alley, to Miss Mary Gravil’.
