Upper Headrow, Leeds, Yorkshire; joiner (d. 1675)
Probably the son of William Atkinson senior, a prominent Leeds clock maker. In his will, dated 15 April 1675, William junior left his entire estate to his wife Mary. He was buried 7 May 1675. Another William Atkinson, perhaps his son, was listed as one of the appraisers of the estate of a fellow joiner, Robert Townson, in 1685.
